New Social Worker! / Nueva Trabajadora Social!

Hello everyone,

I am the new social worker here at Folwell. My name is Marie Metzger and I worked in MPS from 2014 to 2020, working mostly at River Bend but spending some time at Richard Green and Cityview. I spent the last few years doing contract social worker for various charter schools mostly in St. Paul.

I am from St. Paul and grew up there, but I now live in Mendota Heights with my husband, three sons (5, 9 and 11) and two dogs. 

I will be in the building on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and my office is 101C. I am slowly getting back in the swing of things and look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know the students. 

Please stop by and say hi and don't hesitate to reach out. Hopefully I will be able to answer any of your 'social work' questions.

Yo soy la nueva trabajadora social aquí en Folwell. Mi nombre es Marie Metzger y trabaje en MPS desde el 2014 a 2020, trabajando principalmente en River Bend, pero pasando algo de tiempo en Richard Green y Citiview. He pasado los últimos años trabajando como trabajadora social por contrato en varias escuelas autónomas, principalmente en San Pablo. 

Soy de San Pablo y crecí allí, pero ahora vivo en Mendota con mi esposo, tres hijos (5,9, y 11 anos) y dos perros. 

Estaré en el edificio los martes, miércoles, y jueves y mi oficina es 101C. Poco a poco estoy agarrando el ritmo de las cosas y espero conocer a todos ustedes y conocer a los estudiantes.
